Galaxy Tab S12 Series is Coming to the PH: What to Know Before You Pre-Order

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S12 series is out to win over students and remote workers. The lineup has two models, the Tab S12 Ultra and the Tab S12+, and Samsung is pitching them less on raw speed and more on how well they handle a full day of studying or working.

Built for Real-Life Workflows
The main selling point is multitasking. You can split the screen into up to three panels, so you could have a lecture video on one side, Samsung Notes in the middle, and an AI assistant on the other. You jot down points with the S Pen as they come up, and Note Assist summarizes what you wrote without you having to pause the video.

AI That Actually Helps You Learn
The Galaxy Tab S12 series comes equipped with the latest Galaxy AI features, designed to support students, professionals, and lifelong learners. Key AI-powered tools include:

• Note Assist: Automatically summarizes handwritten or typed notes, highlights key points, and can even generate quizzes to test your understanding
• Gemini integration: A six-month trial of Google AI Pro gives you expanded access to Google’s most capable AI models, so you can ask questions, dive deeper into subjects, or clarify confusing concepts on the spot
• Gemini Notebook: Bring together notes, images, recordings, and files in one workspace, then create summaries, podcasts, or even quizzes to make key information easier to understand

All-Day Battery for Long Study or Work Sessions
One of the biggest pain points for students and remote workers is battery anxiety. The Tab S12 series addresses this with marathon-level battery life: up to 23 hours on the Tab S12 Ultra and up to 21 hours on the Tab S12+ on a single charge.

When it’s time to recharge, the 45W fast charging adapter takes the battery from 0% to 100% in about 95 minutes, minimizing downtime so you can get back to what you were doing.

Pro Apps to Take Your Skills Further
It comes bundled with professional-grade apps and benefits worth approximately $600 to help users take their skills further.

• Adobe Photoshop pre-loaded (a first for Android tablets), with AI-powered features like Generative Fill and a four-month free subscription to the Photoshop mobile plan
• Notability with S Pen optimization and AI-driven study tools, plus a six-month free trial
• Goodnotes with one year of free access for clean, organized note-taking
• LumaFusion for professional-grade video editing at a 66% discount
• Notion with one month of its Plus plan free for flexible writing, planning, and organization

Display and build
Both models use Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels with peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits. The Ultra has a 14.6-inch screen, while the S12+ has a 12.6-inch one with thinner bezels than last year’s model. Vision Booster adjusts brightness to your surroundings, so the screen stays readable in a dim room or in direct sun.

Both tablets are IP68-rated for water and dust resistance, and a redesigned 3D Vapor Chamber keeps heat in check during heavier work like video editing.
