GLOW: More Than Financing, a Community Built for Women Entrepreneurs
Global Dominion Financing is bringing more opportunities within reach of women entrepreneurs nationwide through GLOW, or Giving Limitless Opportunities to Women, a financing and community program created to help women-led businesses start, sustain, and grow.
For many Filipina entrepreneurs, access to capital remains a major challenge. Although women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises make up an estimated 66% of the country’s MSMEs, only around 4% have formal access to financing. Strict requirements, limited collateral, rigid lending structures, and gender-related barriers continue to prevent many women-owned businesses from reaching their full potential.
GLOW was created to help close that gap.
“Women have always been the backbone of so many Filipino businesses and households, yet too many have had to grow without the financial support they deserve. GLOW is our way of changing that narrative,” said Global Dominion President and CEO Samuel Cariño. “This is more than a loan product. It’s a commitment to walk alongside every Filipina entrepreneur we serve, because growth is never a solo climb—it takes a community to GLOW.”
Financing Designed Around Women’s Realities
At the center of the program is the GLOW Loan, a financing solution for qualified women-led businesses. Eligible applicants include sole proprietors, partnerships with at least one woman partner, corporations with a woman serving as a director, stockholder, or authorized representative.
The loan may be used for business-related needs, including additional working capital, vehicle or lot acquisition, equipment purchase, and business expansion.
It is available to both new and renewal accounts, giving women entrepreneurs the flexibility to access financing at different stages of their business journey.
GLOW Loan also takes a more inclusive approach to evaluating an applicant’s financial capacity. For established businesses, income from employment or remittances may be considered alongside business revenue. This provides women with additional flexibility, especially those who manage multiple sources of income while building their enterprises.
The program also recognizes that not every entrepreneur has complete ownership documentation or access to collateral. Under specific circumstances, co-borrowing arrangements with a spouse, common-law partner, or immediate family member may be allowed, helping more women qualify for the financing they need.
A Community That Helps Businesses Thrive
GLOW goes beyond financial support through the GLOW Community, a network designed to help women learn, connect, and grow together.
The community welcomes women who aspire to start a business or participate in livelihood programs, current or former Global Dominion clients, those who want to strengthen or expand an existing business, or those pursuing growth in leadership, career, or personal development.
Global Dominion leaders and partners serve as the program’s pioneer members, helping build a network where women can exchange ideas, access guidance, and discover opportunities.
Through the GLOW Community, members may gain access to exclusive financial programs and promotions, free business development workshops, networking and business opportunities, mentorship from experienced professionals, member features and recognition, community service and outreach activities.
Future initiatives may include the GLOW Summit, GLOW Awards, and GLOW Expo, expanding the program’s role in celebrating and supporting women entrepreneurs across the country.
“We built GLOW around how women actually run their businesses, and around the belief that access to capital should come with access to community,” said Eleanor Yap, general manager of Global Dominion’s enterprise division. “That’s the promise we’re making, and one we intend to keep.”
Helping More Women Move Forward
Through GLOW, Global Dominion aims to make business financing more accessible, flexible, and responsive to the realities faced by women entrepreneurs.
The program is now available nationwide. Interested applicants may contact their nearest Global Dominion branch or visit the company’s official website and social media pages to learn more.
