Synopsis: At 4:00 AM today, the center of Severe Tropical Storm “Gorio” (Nesat) was estimated based on all available data at 545 km East Northeast of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan or 435 East of Basco, Batanes (20.2°N 126.1°E) with maximum sustained winds of 105 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 130 km/h. It is forecast to move Northwest at 15 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and Western Visayas.

FORECAST:
Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over whole Visayas. Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over Visayas and the coastal waters over this area will be moderate to occasionally rough.
