Intensity 3 Earthquake Felt in Cebu

An intensity 3 earthquake shakes Metro Cebu around 2:43 pm Friday. Report said the tremor’s epicenter was Dinagat Island, Surigao Del Sur with tectonic origin.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Philvolcs) reported the following intensities:

Intensity V- Surigao City; Siargao Island; Talacogon, Agusan del Sur; Carrascal, Surigao del Sur
Intensity IV- Dinagat Island
Intensity III – San Juan, Southern Leyte; Tacloban, Leyte; Palo, Leyte; Lapulapu City
Intensity II- Bislig, Surigao del Sur; Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur; Davao City;

Philvolcs also said there are no damages following the said tremor but aftershocks are expected.
