Magnitude 3.4 Quake Jolts Davao Occidental

A magnitude 3.4 earthquake struck the province of Davao Occidental on Monday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

In its bulletin, the agency said around 11:19 a.m.with its epicenter traced at 118 kilometers southeast of Sarangani in Davao Occidental.

The tremor, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of three kilometers.

It noted that no intenstiy reported from the quake.

Phivolcs said there was no casualty or damage reported and expect no aftershocks from the quake. (PNA) CTB/CLTC
