CCLEX to Open Opportunities in Cordova
With the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) opening soon, the local government of Cordova believes that this would become a bridge to a prosperous future for the town.
Cordova Mayor Mary Therese Sitoy-Cho said that even before the bridge was built, Cordova town had already placed itself as the gateway for eco-tourism in the Visayas. Now that CCLEX is soon to open, this strengthens the town’s eco-tourism industry.
Aside from eco-tourism, Cordova town also expects a real-estate boom and opens more employment opportunities from industries such as business process outsourcing and retail.
Furthermore, the 8.9-kilometer bridge would entice more investors to the town.
CCLEX’s opening is set for April 27 and is to be graced by President Rodrigo Duterte. (ASC)
