‘Habagat’, Low Pressure Area Bring Rains to Luzon

The “Hangin Habagat”, enhanced by a low pressure area (LPA), will continue to bring rains to Luzon Monday, the state weather bureau, PAGASA, has said.

In its 11 a.m. weather bulletin, the bureau said the LPA was estimated at 580 km. northeast of Itbayat, Batanes at about 10 a.m.

The southwest monsoon, enhanced by the weather disturbance, will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains brought by cloudy skies and thunderstorms over the provinces of Pangasinan, La Union and Ilocos Sur.

The Cordillera, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon regions and Ilocos Norte province meanwhile will experience light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. (PNA) CVL/JLD
