Duterte To Sign Executive Order For FOI

President Duterte will sign an executive order in the next two weeks allowing freedom of information, says Communcations Secretary Martin Andara.

Andara mentioned that the order will only cover branches under the executive brand of the government considering that it is only a presidential memorandum.

Andara said that this is a commitment of the president to the citizens of the country..

“We are rushing the draft of the executive order. We will announce (its signing) within this week or next week,” Andara said.
