TALISAY LANDING

Yesterday, the City government of Talisay re-enacted history when the American forces landed in shores of Talisay (now Larawan beach) on March 26, 1945. Such event is an important highlight in Cebu’s  history as it was in this point that Cebuano guerillas and American forces have advanced the controlling Japanese soldiers, leading to the liberation of Cebu from Japan’s imperial control.
