Man Who Shoots Boy Surrenders

A 32-year-old man who accidentally shot a two-year-old boy in Barangay Baring, Carmen town yesterday surrendered to the police at 4 a.m. today.

Pedro Durano personally went to the Carmen Police Station and owned up the crime, saying it was an accident. Durano reportedly had a heated altercation with a neighbor at 9 a.m. yesterday when he resorted to shooting that person. He allegedly shot him twice, but instead of hitting the enemy, he hit the boy nearby.
