Tropical Storm BASYANG Update: February 13, 2018

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, Tropical Storm “BASYANG” was estimated based on all available data at 470 km East Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (7.2N,130.4E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 80 km/h. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 23 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

FORECAST:
Visayas will have cloudy skies w/ scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the trough of TS Basyang. Palawan and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.
