Visayas Weather Forecast: November 10, 2017

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm “SALOME” (HAIKUI) was estimated based on all available data at 60 km Southwest of Subic, Zambales (14.4N, 120.0E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to100 km/h. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 20 km/h.

FORECAST:

Cloudy skies with occasional rains and gusty winds will be experienced over Occidental Mindoro caused by TS Salome while Cebu and the rest of Visayas and Palawan will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the East to Southeast prevail over Visayas and Occidental Mindoro with moderate to rough seas.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the Southwest to South will prevail over Palawan with moderate to occasionally rough seas.
