Cebu Gets a Bigger UNIQLO and a Reason to Keep Wearing What You Love

When UNIQLO reopens its SM City Cebu store on November 12, 2026, shoppers will find more than just a larger retail space waiting for them.

After temporarily closing in July for expansion, the SM City Cebu branch returns as a two-level, large-format LifeWear destination, giving shoppers more room, more choices, and easier access to the latest collections for men, women, kids, and babies.

UNIQLO SM City Cebu will become the first store outside Metro Manila to offer both RE.UNIQLO Studio Embroidery and UTme! custom T-shirt printing in one location. Customers can personalize a new shirt, add embroidery to a favorite piece, or give well-worn clothing a second life through repairs and customization.

The reopening also comes with a community initiative. Through its Supporting Brighter Futures Through Education program with the ABS-CBN Foundation, UNIQLO will support improvement efforts at San Miguel Elementary School in Cordova, Cebu. The project includes classroom repairs and the provision of school supplies, desks, chairs, and other learning essentials. Proceeds from selected AIRism Innerwear purchases will help fund the initiative.

The reopening coincides with the 70th anniversary of Philippines-Japan friendship, bringing together Japanese design, practical everyday wear, and a local community-focused effort.

While waiting for the November reopening, customers can continue shopping at UNIQLO branches in SM Seaside City Cebu, SM J Mall, Ayala Center Cebu, and Ayala Malls Central Bloc. UTme! and RE.UNIQLO Embroidery services are also available at Ayala Center Cebu.

UNIQLO is expanding what a clothing store can mean: a place to shop, personalize, repair, and give back.
