More Than P2-M Shabu, 2 Arrested In Duljo Fatima
P2.3 million worth of suspected shabu was nabbed in a joint buy-bust operation in Brgy. Duljo Fatima, Cebu City last Friday, September 28, 2018.
The joint forces of Mambaling Police, Regional Mobile Group 7 and Drug Enforcement Group Visayas arrested Charity Ruiz alias “Cha-cha”, 21 and Jericho Rondina alias “Cokak”, 22 in a buy-bust operation in the area.
2 plastic packs suspected to contain shabu were recovered by the authorities which weighed in at 200 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P2,360,000.
About 2 months of surveillance was made before the buy-bust was conducted.
Both Ruiz and Rondina will face charges in violation of RA 9165 also known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Aljun S. Cainghog)
