Over P3-M Worth Nabbed in Hotels

P3 million worth of drugs were recovered inside a hotel from 4 suspected drug pushers in two different buy-bust operations in Cebu City on November 7 and 8.

Ian Paul Bontilao Cabarrubias was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by Talamban Police Station 8 on November 7, 2018.

Cabarrubias yielded 25 grams of suspected shabu with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P295,000 and a .22 revolver.

Fuente Police Station 2, CCPO also arrested Maryjane Lipitin Deguitos and cohorts Jhon Fri Tapales and Geramae Niala were nabbed inside a pension house in the city on November 8, 2018.

The suspects yielded 295 grams of suspected shabu with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P2.8 million.

Suspects will face charges in violation of R.A. 9165 also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Aljun S. Cainghog)
