Drugs Nabbed on Undas

Three persons arrested and over P500k worth of drugs were confiscated from the suspects in different buy-bust operations in Cebu City on November 1 and 2.

Jeffrey Robin Mahapo a.k.a “Jimboy”, 23 yielded plastic packs of suspected shabu in Sitio Mabapo, Brgy. Mambaling, Cebu City on a Thursday, November 1, 2018.

The buy-bust operation conducted by Police Station 11, CCPO caught Mahapo red-handed after he transacted with a undercover police officer.

Mabapo handed 30.3 grams of suspected shabu with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P357,540.

Meanwhile, Bonifacio Suan Fernandez and alleged cohort Wenston Quiroga Bacorta were also arrested in another buy-bust operation in the city on November 2, 2018.

Recovered from the suspects were 20 grams of suspected shabu with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P236,000.

Suspects will face charges in violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.(Aljun S. Cainghog)
